  1. Aaron wears black shoes Erica!

  2. haha, funny Aye Jay.

  3. this reminds me of something else, but i am not able to figure it out.

  4. I’ll take Horkey worship over “heres another DRIVE poster” or “heres another drawing of Bill Murray” any day of the god damned week.

  5. It’s pretty bad when your OMGPosters reveal contains nothing but mentions of Aaron Horkey in the comments. The red string, the style of shading on the rocks, the skate trucks, the mixed-in stippling on the hands, I mean… really? I was also hoping Horkey would influence a generation of artists and their art, but this is far too similar. It’s a lot of work, a lot of technique, sure… but why draw the same subjects as the one who influenced you? Why not do your own thing and send your own message?

  6. Oops, upon further inspection of her tumbler (http://atelopho.tumblr.com) it appears that she is rather diverse in subject matter.

She also draws crows, diamond back snakes, moths, old cars with trees growing in them, teeth on the ground next to beetles, and owls… all subjects which Horkey would never include in a composition.

    My bad, Erica.
