That Emek Cleveland Phish print is 2nd to the throne only to the Went Robot…add some doodles in and it just might be the Holy Grail…love Jerry Garcia profile in the middle right clouds…it will be interesting to see what this goes for…some really cool old Dead (Mouse) prints and an AWESOME Irish Stones print…Ken Taylors are all great too…if I had money I would collect every Ken Taylor I could

  2. Wow really wish you hadn’t posted a link to this 🙂

  3. Oh God. My bank account is freaking out right about now.

  4. Isn’t this the same as flipping or putting it on ebay?

  5. Its not really flipping if the posters are old, especially some of those like 14 year old ones. Flipping is when all the shitheads slam servers at a poster drop to buy prints that they know will be popular, and then immediately post them on Ebay for way more (sometimes even before they actually buy them, lol)

  6. Thanks Ben!!!

  7. No ISIS, Kyuss, Botch, or Sunn O))), Damn.

  8. Very good definition Ben. I agree completely.

  9. bah, flipping is selling a print for more than you paid for it. not sure why time frame should have anything to do with it.

and, who cares??? free market, dude.

  10. “Flipping is a term used primarily in the United States to describe purchasing a revenue-generating asset and quickly reselling (or “flipping”) it for profit.”

Just to be clear. Selling your old shit for market value isn’t “flipping”, it’s selling your old shit for market value.

Oh and right on JoJo! Christ-on-sale there’s some nice posters in there.

  11. It’s all hoarding and boarding boys. Selling a poster for more than you paid for it is a flip by any definition. Gouging the consumer by beating them to the punch. I do it, so I know, but it is what it is. In 10 years, and collectible won’t be worth a thing as we’ll all be riding the high waves of global magnetic realigment, dude.

  12. “Emek Foo Fighters Motorhead Copper Sheet Poster” is not ten years old. Definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, a flip. But what do I care; I am only jealous that I was in that town on the night of the show and happened to be a few minutes late on every listing that went up on CL to get below face value tickets.
