  1. Gorgeous. These two together is an unbeatable team. I’m constantly floored by both of their stuff. And what a kick-ass film. Double-like.

  2. Nice. I only wish he’d made it the same size as Pan’s, they’d look pretty cool next to each other. Still awesome though.

  3. Wow! That “E” on the end of “backbone” is just insane.

  4. NICE. Finally a Horkey print a can get behind. Enough of the twigs and feathers! I might have to finally break down and get a 36″ portfolio.

  5. Didn’t go for it, but the Black and Red instantly sold out. Charcoal took 2 minutes.

Already see them on eBay for buy it now at $300.00.

  6. Yeah, i cant stand mondo.. I purchased one of those “gift cards” from them, and i can never use it because everything they sell, sells out in like 5 seconds, and they wont refund my money.. thats what i call BULLSH*T….

  7. You snooze you lose, slowpokes! No need to whine just cuz you’re too slow on the draw!

  8. Why would Mondo refund your money? First off, you bought the gift card for yourself because you thought it would be faster. And then you weren’t fast enough or your computer or connection weren’t fast enough to purchase the poster. If Mondo started refunding all the people who do the same thing you do, it wouldn’t make any sense. I have bought a card before and missed the drop. So I used it for something else. Move on.

  9. Natron, today’s poster was up for 20 minutes, I doubt that was too fast for you.

  10. Got shut out of the red variant. Oh well.

Ended up snagging the regular. If I can get Cronos, I’ll have a complete Del Toro director’s series.

Far more deserving of a director’s series than Snyder, IMHO.

Next, we need an non-exhaustive Takeshi Miike series.

  11. God, that gold and red one slays…

  12. yeah i got one at the 15 minute mark. not the longest sale ever but certainly not as bad as plenty of others, guess us dorks will have to keep on keepin on.
    T
ps this one is the dopest

  13. two amazing illustrators working together again…and i missed it…again!

    damn it!

oh well, i just saved some money….

  14. Another great collaboration. I know Horkey gets a lot of flak about the legibility of his lettering, but I just love it. Can’t find many guys with ability like that.

@Natron: Have you tried e-mailing them ahead of time asking that, if you’re able to purchase a print using a credit card, that they refund you in exchange for gift credit? I’m sure they would be willing to accommodate you in that regard, though I could be mistaken.

  15. Great prints. Is there a reason that ‘Mimic’ wasn’t included in this director series? It feels incomplete without it…just saying.

  16. @Jaws

I assume it is because Del Toro hates that film and has disowned it in numerous interviews.

  17. pretty creepy print here, dont think it will go well with the spouse.

  18. Great the one sale where I might have had a chance to to get it and I spent the day outside in the sun.
    Fuck the sun!
