  1. Todd’s creating some of the best posters out there.

  2. Do you guys think that this Radiohead is attractive? I love the concept with the 1s and 0s, but I don’t think it’s very pretty to look at nor do I like the colors that much. And then I’m also strangely drawn to it. Opinions?

  3. I like the Radiohead print. I will likely be using a mat to cover the weird border, but otherwise, I like it a lot.

I picked that up and the Cure poster. Not sure how soon I’ll have a chance to pick up another cool looking Cure poster.

  4. I think the Radiohead one is strongest out of this group. Regardless, it’s sold out.

  5. Really love the lettering on the Cure poster. Not as in love with the colors, but still…

    Slater’s work is terrific.

  6. I know the poster for Radiohead will sell out in minutes (or already has) as the band are better but I love and have bought the Cure poster – Its lettering is very Rick Griffin and Fillmore Era, a period that rocks and still (in my eyes) dominates all poster era.

  7. I know the Radiohead sold out, but does anyone else think it’s kinda ugly? It doesn’t fit Radiohead for me. I can see why the management might not like it.

No offense, just not my cup of tea. I didn’t buy one, but I know that didn’t matter. I just wonder how many people buy posters in general because they love them versus how many just want the financial investment or to flip them in a few months. Hmmm…I know that this topic gets discussed a lot. I just find it interesting as the sales on ebay for many posters are sometimes even less than the artist’s sale price. For something to be sold out makes me think that lots of dealers just buy them up to control the market. Anyway, I’m rambling. No offense to anyone Todd is mad talented, I just don’t think this poster, although a great idea, is very appealing aesthetically.

  8. I bought the pack, basically I really like the cure and cat power poster. The radiohead one is a present for a friend (a kind of fanatic of Radiohead) and Feist…. i don’t know I love broken social scene music and may be i will give her a chance.
I only buy posters from the groups I really love, in europe there is no tradition about gigposters (but it is increasing) so most of the times I saw the concert, I like it, but i have to buy the poster of another venue of the tour, normally from usa

  9. Agree with u jennifer, the radiohead is an ugly one, relooked at that poster over and over again, trying to find what I missed that others see..no success so far. The cure one is way much better.

  10. Yeah – The Cure one is BEAUTIFUL. Too bad I’m not a huge Cure fan. I like them. I just don’t poster like them. =)
