“Eryops Rising” Art Print by Aaron Horkey (Both Versions)

Holy smokes, check out this new art print by Aaron Horkey. The Burlesque edition of “Eryops Rising” is an eight color screenprint with an edition of 100. The Japanese Mega-Fauna version is also eight colors, but has an edition of only 60. The art was originally created for an upcoming Jesu/Fog collaborative record. These should go up for sale soon at Burlesque Design and Mega-Fauna, and I will of course keep you posted. Until then, enjoy!

Ernesto Yerena’s Hecho Con Ganas site will begin branching out into other artists starting with this new print by Angel Gonzalez.  “Da Street Corner” is an 18″ x 24″ screenprint with an edition of 26.  It was produced with hand-cut rubylith, which took the artist over 25 hours to do.  These go up sometime during the day on Friday, June 19th.  Visit HechoConGanas.com.

The Summer 2009 Series from Soundscreen Design

Soundscreen Design has put together an awesome series of clothing and accessories for nine different bands by three different artists.  Jay Ryan did merch for Battles, The National, and Pelican, Hand Held Heart did merch for Gang Gang Dance, Liars, and No Age, and Seripop did merch for Deerhoof, Fucked Up, and Handsome Furs.  Everything is organic, high-quality, and limited edition.  Check it all out at Soundscreen Design.

Beans-N-Screens

Sam Verrill, the man behind Screens and Spokes, is in the middle of curating his second annual Beans-N-Screens portfolio campaign.  A number of great artists have produced coffee-inspired art prints, and everything will be sold to benefit fair-trade coffee farmers.  With artists like Mike Munter, Strawberryluna, and Mark Forsman involved, this should be a pretty great collection.  The prints will debut at coffee shops in Philadelphia on June 26th, then will make their way online eventually.  Stay updated at the Beans-N-Screens Blog.

Colorado people, be sure to check out the lecture and exhibition that Ink Lounge Gallery is hosting with two of today’s greatest poster artists, Jay Ryan and Diana Sudyka.  The lecture takes place on Friday, June 26th from 6pm-7:30pm, with the exhibition immediately following around the corner.  The lecture is located at 7349 W.
