  1. So black Spiderman can’t face off against Kraven? :(

  2. I do love them BTW!

  3. Lot of money to be made from these. With some quick bad math I’m guessing Monday is bringing in somewhere between 250,000 – 400,000 depending on the overall edition sizes..

  4. Got milk?

  5. Got Red Hulk! Blasted Spidey was gone immediately ha! He’s so lovable.

  6. FAN ART!!

  7. as much as I can’t stand the fan art trend, not only because it’s copyright infringement but because it’s really boring and unoriginal… it’s been like watching all your favorite bands turn into cover bands, and while your favorite band might do a great cover of some other band’s song, you’d rather listen to them play their own songs then play a bunch of covers and sadly the poster scene is turning into any bar in the world where you walk in and hear a band playing a bunch of covers… this is not fan art… mondo has licensing rights.

being someone who grew up on Marvel, I think Mike did an excellent job on these… made them classic but with a fresh feel to them. Only one I think he missed would have been Cyclops’ brother Havok (the original version not the new rebranded version)…could have done some cool geometric shapes like on the Magento or Cap. America one.

  8. Magento is a lesser known marvel villian… he was part of the Four Color Process gang… along side Cyana, Yeller and Blackie.

  9. @bk
Weather it’s licensed or not, it’s still fan art.

  10. Then I guess every concert poster ever made is fan art too, by your definition.

  11. PS, definition, from Wikipedia: Fan art refers to artworks that are neither created nor (normally) commissioned or endorsed by the creators of the work from which the fan art derives.

  12. Got milk?

seriously. Mondo would like to milk you.
