“Capture Creatures” – Art Show (and More) by Becky Dreistadt and Frank Gibson (Tiny Kitten Teeth)

If you’re in California, you HAVE to make it to “Capture Creatures”, a new Pokemon-inspired show by Becky Dreistadt and Frank Gibson  opening next weekend at Gallery Nucleus. Together, taking inspiration from Ken Sugimori’s feat of designing the original 151 Pokemon in a single year, they’ve been building some pretty insane mythology, tirelessly inventing and documenting 151 different original creatures, seen HERE. The images will be sold as 5″ x 7″ paintings for $151 each, plus they’ll have early copies of the accompanying book. There’ll be prints and other great things too, so seriously, just go if you can. It opens on June 1st, get more info at GalleryNucleus.com.
