“Required Reading” Second Reveal: Ken Taylor’s Moby Dick Poster

The second reveal from our Gallery 1988 show, “Required Reading”, is an absolute stunner by Ken Taylor. Both versions are 18″ x 36″ screenprints with metallic ink. Don’t forget, the show opens Friday, can’t wait. Enjoy!

  5. Dammit!!!! Can’t…. see…. photobucket….at….work! One of my favorite artists doing one of my favorite books ever!

  6. So great, amazing work Ken.

  7. Wow! This show’s gonna be stellar!

  8. Will be trying for this one when it goes up online.

The others look good too, wallets gunna take a beating for sure.

  9. Stunning. I love the perspective. I hate these 36″ prints though. I still have a Dan McCarthy “The Lost World” print still in the tube because of no where to put it. I’ll get a 36″ binder one of these days…

  10. I framed McCarthy’s Lost World and Hoth and Taylor’s Bounty Hunters and Centipede (among others) in 12×36 frames purchased right off the shelf at Aaron Brothers. This 18×36 will require custom framing, however.

  11. Impressive. This is a terrifying print…

  12. Am I reading too much into it, or has ken been a bit clever in putting a fish-eye perspective on this? Outstanding work.

  13. @ viv, I was looking at it as a neat way to still get the moon/circle that seems to appear in a majority of his work.

  14. Will all the prints be up for sale on the Gallery 1988 site tomorrow April 14 ? Or are this prints first going to be shown in a show. Then thay are going to be up for sale ?

  15. Prints will be sold in person on Friday. If there are any left, they will be sold online on Saturday.

  16. Very nicely Done (>~<)/
