“Anonymous Hug” Japan Charity Art Print by Tohru Patrick Awa at 1xRUN

  1. There should be a “giclee free” version of your site.

  2. My concern with a giclee is that you usually don’t know if it was made on professional equipment costing thousands of dollars or on an inkjet printer from Costco. I’m particularly suspicious if the only sizes offered are 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17. I could come into work on a Saturday and print out a hundred “giclees” and then sell them on Etsy. And I bet that happens all the time.

    Then there’s the, “isn’t this really just a poster, like the kind I thumbtacked to my wall in high school” aspect of giclees.

    Still, I’m ok with the giclee posts because at least it’s new content and usually a pretty picture to look at.

  4. Costco’s Fuji Frontier printers are pretty near flawless.
