  1. Is he supposed to look like a pro wrestler?

  2. I am supposed to throw-up in my mouth a little as a reaction to this print?

    Because I did.

  3. To me it looks like his head on a chicks body. I will file this one under the fail column.

  4. ‘Throw up in my mouth’

That saying is so tired and so damn stupid. The mouth is the first place that vomit touches. Maybe something like ‘I threw up on my shoes a little’ or ‘I threw up on my shirt a little’

    #beoriginial

  5. Can anybody sat “creepy bed buddies”….Shepard seems like a stalker. Rollins is an ass in person.

  6. I wonder if Hank will have the other 500 on tour….when i saw him in 2008 and snatched a show poster he had an assload of posters…i think the edition size was 1400

  7. why would someone throw up on their shoes a little, or on their shirt?… Man, this print is so bad i just threw up on my shirt…after i hear this im not even thinking about the print, im wondering what kinda disgusting person u are for throwing up on ur own shirt. ..

clearly, you dont understand the expression which explains why u think its “so damn stupid”….

I met rollins once, he seemed pretty cool, im 50/50 on this one

  8. Can’t stop thinking about how it looks like he has no pants on. Wouldn’t say it’s a horrible image though.

  9. Not diggin the poster but I met Henry in NC a few years back and he was super cool. Very funny and just a tad twisted….ok more than a tad twisted.
I also read a couple of his books and he does say it as he thinks it (and his thinking is dark, yet intelligent). Some of his early writings were rough enough that I felt I needed to shower after reading them. I think he is dude who instead of running from his darkside, he confronted it and tried to rape it!

  10. RE: Rollins being an ass.

Can you imagine how many numbskulls this guy has to talk to on a daily basis? Wouldn’t that kind of wear on your nerves after a while?

I can only imagine what kind of nitwit questions someone who can bother to spell “say” right in a posting would ask…

  11. I threw up on my throw up.

Henry looks like he been smoking crack. Skinny as hell.

At least its a design closer to sheps heart and not just some portrait/war theme rip off.

  12. My thought is hes an old bare knuckled boxer, in his corner takinv a break as he confronts death…..If ur familiar w Rollins spoken word this isnt that far fetched

  13. I have to say this is a week print. I was imagining that Shepard would release the Henry Rollins piece that he showed at 941 Geary as Henry’s B-dau Print.

    Looks way better.

  14. The “pro wrestler” outfit everyone is talking about is actually the Supreman costume he wore in the “Liar” video

I’m a big rollins fan and I like the concept, I just don’t think Fairey pulled it off very well this time.

  15. @Josh…thats awesome….wow…thanks man

  16. Picked one up, but I’m still trying to figure out what that jagged black shape is on his right shoulder. Maybe it’ll be clearer in person.

  17. Love Henry Rollins. Do not like the poster. Very accurate likeness of his face, though.

Also, can’t get behind the phrase “threw up in my mouth”. It’s on par with “lol you owe me a new monitor cuz that wuz so funny I spit coffee all over mine, mate!”

But I wouldn’t have yelled at you for it.

You know, for what it’s worth.

  18. I just pooped in my mouth a little. What a horrible cut and paste job this is. Why am I seeing red through Rollins’ arm where Death’s cloak should be?

  19. You people must be young,…Henry Rollins is a super-intelligent, nice human being…very strong in his convictions maybe, be he’s earned that right because he actually puts himself and his beliefs out there.

Print was rushed and not thought out…gotta keep the machine pumping though, right?
