  5. I think its pretty. then again, I like all of dan mccarthy’s work. I do wish he did more prints with the dinosaur skeletons, and more glow in the dark stuff!

  6. I think its great how he manage to make the air actually LOOK freezing in the print…great job on that bit alone.

  7. not hating just saying…. http://www.powerslidedesign.com/posters_html/closing_in.shtml

  8. @ jao I see what you’re saying

  9. This is the same image from his pink moon print.

  10. Not the same image. here’s a pic of all the original paintings together with the third (harvest moon) in the center.

  11. I wish he had released Harvest moon as a print instead. I love cool moon, but the yellow is just amazing. But now that he’s released Cool Moon and Pink Moon, I feel that it’s going to be a long time before he releases Harvest Moon (if at all).

  12. I like harvest moon too. all three look cool together!

  13. @ jao
You’re pointing out prints from someone who is clearly copping elements from Dan’s work circa 2005/6.

If you feel like you keep seeing stuff that looks likes Dan’s it’s because he’s developed his own iconic style that is now being widely imitated. I see it all the time too.

Cold Moon is awesome, and if Pink Moon is any indication, it will look twice as good in person.

  14. @Andrew, I’d say he’ll probably wait until next Fall.

  15. I stand corrected.
