“Before You Were Old” Art Print by Godmachine

This is probably Godmachine’s best print yet and it won’t be around long (the handmade paper version already sold out). ”Before You Were Old” is an 11.5″ x 16.5″ drypoint etching, has a tiny edition of 14, and is £30. Visit his shop.

Still extremely impressed that he moved out of his element to hand draw this one. Not to mention the fact that it’s intaglio..

Seriously? Other than the fact that there’s a woman and some skulls, I’m not seeing any resemblance to Brian Pulido’s work.

And $50 for an etching, even at 11.5″ x 16.5″ isn’t bad if you like the artist.. Anyone that’s printed intaglio before knows damn right well there’s a reason this edition is only 13 or so and is being sold for that much. Haha

Okay, I’ll admit that she looks like Lady Death, but I find the overall art style to be different. That’s more what I meant.. Regardless, that style of barbarian-like woman hardly started with Lady Death.
