  1. usually not a fan of shepard fairey’s work but this isn’t half bad

  2. We all knew the oil spill print was coming sooner or later, but honestly kinda expected more. Seems like a pretty half assed effort to me. I am sure it will sell out though.

  3. meh

  4. Thursday is the 15th,my birthday.

  5. Wow…….just……Wow.

  6. Someone really needs to explain Fairey to me. I don’t get it.

  7. Thurs the 15th? or Weds the 14th? The print is kinda Meh, but just checking all the same.

  8. Very simple and it get the point across. I like it and will be purchasing these prints.

  9. If I didn’t know anything about these prints, I wouldn’t think this had anything to do with the oil spill.

  10. Plus the waves rarely get this big in the gulf.

  11. I’m with mtn. If I didn’t read about how this was related to the oil spill in the gulf, I would have thought this was just another ocean print. He should of had some color in the sky if he wanted to get the point across better.

  12. Weak. No time was put into this and it shows.

  13. Boring

  14. I agree that this image is pretty boring. I’ve been a fan of sheps work but this shows no emotion and is nothing more than a wave..

  15. Random. Not even vaguely conceptual. I wish he would stop prints and stick to the originals.

  16. Happy Birthday Nick!

  17. Thanks Matt. I want to also agree with people on the lack of interest on this poster. I still like his stuff mostly.

  18. I like this – it has a subtle feel. It nice to see something that isnt totally literal. I give thumbs upward

  19. yawn

  20. This is pretty much the only Fairey print I’ve ever seen that I’ve liked. Might try for the white. Simple, subtle…
