New Posters from The Alamo Drafthouse

The Alamo Drafthouse has some great new posters up for sale.  First up is Rhys Cooper’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set.  The set includes four 12″ x 36″ screenprints, has an edition of 160, and is $85.  Secondly, Arik Roper’s “Children of the Hydra”, a stunning homage to Jason and the Argonauts, is an 18″ x 24″ screenprint, has an edition of 70, and is $30.  The Turtles posters are already over half-gone, I wouldn’t expect them to last past today.  Visit MondoTees.com.

  1. Cowabunga!!! Turtle-power!!! :-)

I would not hang these on my walls – they look really good though!

  2. managed to get a variant wizard. lol between this and tmnt..feels great to spend $158 in the morning.

  3. The TMNT posters are amazing but not sure I would hang them up anywhere. Wish I could just buy one.

  4. They look great, but I am in the same boat, I really know I would never hang them anywhere. And I also just bought the GID and the Variant of Doyle’s Big Trouble posters, and 2 Olly’s yesterday, So i need to not buy anything for the next week or so haha.

  5. You got those Big Trouble posters? Man i’m jealous. What time did you grab them? It was 12:30 central when i checked Nakatomi and they were already gone. Good snag dude.

  6. I got them both around 11pm Central. At first I just got the Variant, then thought about it for about 10 seconds and then went back and ordered the other one. I may get double shipping, but worth it.

  7. good one baker…
baker, if you get repeated prints from moss shoot me an e-mail.

i don’t know if you saw my post about not seeing the set for “the hangover” at flatstock… sorry dude.

  8. Its cool Jesus, I was actually looking for the DD print for flatstock, but you cant win them all. In the end I prolly need to start saving some money since I just bought all these posters.

  9. baker, DD did have the “flatstock” poster; it was called driskill hotel, or something like that… sorry about that.

  10. Wow, Rhys’ turtles look amazing. Missed it.

  11. Gone! Damn damn. Of course I slept in today. I think I woulda hung all four of those someplace… so be it :)

  12. Those TMNT look fantastic. I was never a fan of the show and would never hang these. Besides, I checked OMG too late!

Like the Hydra one as well. But it’s not really an Alamo poster right? No Argonauts title or screening info

  13. I’d like to see a smaller, uncut version of the TMNT offered.

  14. Like handbills. That’s a great idea.

  15. passed on the turtles. but jumped on that roper!

  16. hell yeah, the roper rules !

  17. IF YOU HANG ONE OF THESE ON YOUR WALL I CAN GUARANTEE YOU WILL NEVER GET LAID AGAIN.

  18. Not if you got game.

JFK Jr. could have had giant costumed props from TMNT in his apartment and the ladies would think it a delightful quirk.

If you’re some guy who has nacho stains on his shirt and types in all caps on the internetz, then you’ll probably have a tough time getting laid no matter what’s hanging on your wall.

  19. I’ve gone out of my way to wear a transformers shirt when I knew I’d be getting some.

I’m pretty sure going by BEEFLOAF is way more detrimental than the art you have on your walls.

  20. whoever managed to get these or even mentioned having the TMNT posters but not wanting to hang them up is nuts. I wish I hadn’t slept on this site for the past week bc i would have dropped the pesos for them without a thought. They would have definitely rocked the hell out out of my walls, along with all the other fresh ish. Anybody worried about getting TU SABES, has a lot more to worry about than whats on their walls… like their game or whatever. If someone can’t appreciate some ill shiz like that then they’re probably too eaaaaaaaaathy anyways.

  21. hahhaa, or the nacho stains!!!!

    and computer crust!!!

    hahahahahahaha

  22. I really want some TMNT…
