“Relief For Haiti” Art Print by Shepard Fairey, Cleon Peterson, and Casey Ryder (Onsale Info)

Shepard Fairey has teamed up with Studio Number One’s Cleon Peterson and Casey Ryder for a Haiti earthquake benefit print.  “Benefit For Haiti” is an 18″ x 24″ screenprint that will cost $50.  Not sure of the edition size yet, but it does say it will be signed and numbered.  All proceeds will benefit Haiti.  It goes up Friday, February 5th at a random time.  Visit ObeyGiant.com.

  1. Best Fairey in a looooong time!

  2. I wouldn’t go that far, but it’s better than Writings On The Wall.
I can’t see it on my wall – there are way more detailed / better constructed Haiti prints. The font is kinda ugly, too. I much prefer the Emek Haiti print.

  3. The font isn’t that ugly. It goes with the rest of the art.

  4. As a US taxpayer, I donated to the Haiti relief effort thanks to Obama writing the check for me. It’s hard to trash a charity print… I’ll leave it at that.

  5. Pretty colors!

  6. I agree with 13, The font is the best part about this to me. I like the colors. Personally i wish they would have done something else with the art. Color pallet is sick. The shep photo treatment doesn’t do it for me.

  7. I dig the colorway/font. Not all that impressed with the faces but i’ll still be looking to buy.

  8. even if the colors are very different i´m sure this will be nice together with my hope for dafur set. very nice.

  9. Good job to Shep, Casey Rider, and Cleon. Thanks for donating your time to a great cause!!!!!

  10. […] Shepard Fairey, Cleon Peterson, and Casey Ryder have teamed up to release a poster print to raise funds to benefit the people of Haiti. They’ll be available sometime on Friday, for $50. Via OMG Posters! […]

  11. I have NOT been too impressed with Sheps work recently but this print is fun with it’s vibrant color scheme and busy lettering (in a good way). I am glad they didn’t pick some generic block font. What really sold me on this print is the fact that the children are Sooooooo cute, yet it draws upsetting emotions to know that the children of Haiti aren’t smiling like that. I just wish it matched anything in my house or that I had room for it for that matter. I guess I’ll just stick to giving money without expecting something in return ;-)

  12. Fantastic. Great piece for a great cause.

  13. This is pretty rad, shep must not have had alot to do with lol

  14. This is a great poster. Everything about it is awesome, from the type, the colors, the patterns, the kids and the cause. It all works together beautifully. Easily one of my favorite posters of the year.

  15. i am feeling the font too. it makes sense. this is a fun print, but alas, i am pennyless….

  16. Put your hand in front of the type and see how the print looks good !

  17. Bad Ass!
This is a collaboration piece people…gawwd haters.

  18. I actually sorta like this one, perhaps it’s because the font, colors and downwards perspective remind me a bit of Do the Right Thing!

  19. Is it flippable?

  20. Brian=legend.

  21. this print makes me happy when I look at it… goin for it

  22. Print is up for sale NOW!

  23. I can’t believe this didn’t sell out yet.
