New Concert Posters by The Small Stakes

Jason Munn aka The Small Stakes has unmatched consistency.  I have no idea how he comes up with so many simple, yet unbelievably clever posters.  His newest two are no exception.  The Bon Iver poster is an 18″ x 24″ screenprint for $40 (because he has so few), while the Fever Ray is also 18″ x 24″ for $25.  Visit TheSmallStakes.com.

    The Fever Ray poster makes great use of balance and contrast in poster design. The gold graphics in the black background glow with a smokey intimacy like that of a small concert venue. I have a thing for symmetry and this poster feeds it.Plus, the way the graphics interact with the typography is brilliant! Anyone looking for a great poster that follows the best of design rules, this may just be the one they are wanting.
