“The 4-Toed Statue” Lost Print by The Small Stakes

Jason Munn aka The Small Stakes’ entry to the viral Lost series is now up for sale.  “The 4-Toed Statue” is an 18″ x 24″ screenprint, has an edition of 300, and is $50.  Considering the metallic gold ink and clear varnish, this thing could look very cool in person.  Visit DamonCarltonAndAPolarBear.com.

  1. “Considering the metallic gold ink and clear varnish, this thing could look very cool in person.”

as opposed to looking pretty awful in the image on the website!

  2. Ugh, these posters have been (sadly) very hit or miss.

  3. wow, this sucks

  4. None of you have seen it yet. So you don’t know that it sucks.

And, because of the varnish/gloss/whatever, allegedly you can only see the gold foot from certain angles. Other angles, it’s all darkness and shadow. And that sounds BADASS and completely mysterious…like the fans would say about the show, right? So it’s actually pretty cool, right?

You guys don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

  5. If I had to use a word to describe this print, BADASS wouldn’t make the list

  6. I agree with mistersmith. Wait to see it in person before doing what you do.

  7. Wait a minute mistersmith, you say that people don’t know what the hell they are talking about because they haven’t seen it, right?

But then you haven’t seen it yet, so you don’t know what the hell you are talking about either, right?

    Just clearing that up.

  8. looks horrible. don’t even want to be disappointed by having to see how horrible it is in person too.

lost is a good tv show. these viral posters, however, are not up to the standards of the show. which is a letdown.

  9. I got lost watching LOST… I missed a few weeks in season 3 or 4 and was like WTF when I got back to it… GREAT show for those that have followed it from Season 1, I just couldn’t stick it out…

  10. Disappointing poster in person too. At least I can burn it for heat when I get back to the island.
