It’s nice to see a new release from Studio Number One’s Ernesto Yerena.  “El Che” is a 22″ x 31″ screenprint, has an edition of 100 (each color), and will be $100 each.  These go up tomorrow (Wednesday, August 26th) at a random time.  Visit HechoConGanas.com.

  1. How hip! Were these commissioned by Hot Topic?

  2. Nice but is it too much like Fairey?

  3. EE,

you do know that he’s shepard’s assistant right?

  4. yes sir, hence my statement

  5. He must know how somewhat “played out” the Che theme is, so I give him props for doing what he wants to do. I will not, however, be purchasing one.

  6. its not played out for a guy named Ernesto Yerena…

I swear I’m not being racist! ha.

  7. I’m not so sure we need another person trying to sell pscreenprints of someone else’s photography. Not even for legal reasons, just because it’s a saturated market and the work is, almost by default at this point, repetitive and boring. Also, on the “I Made This” scale, it scores pretty low.

  8. Che was a joke. small town crook who stole stupid stuff like shoe laces and handle bar covers.

  9. The award for most cliches in a single print: Ernesto Yerena
