New Dan McCarthy Art Print: “What Once Was”
Wow, I am just constantly blown away by Dan McCarthy’s art prints. This new one, “What Once Was”, is definitely no exception. It’s a 19″ x 25″ screenprint, will have an edition of around 550, and is $40. It also has some very clever use of glow in the dark ink. Visit DanMcCarthy.org.
Here’s a mockup of what it will look like in the dark:

I don’t even like glow-in-the-dark prints but this is AWESOME
Damn, I wish i had thought of this. I love dinosaurs. This is so good. I’m rolling with the underground dino. Is that an elasmosaurus or plesiosaur? If it ain’t a plesiosaur, I ain’t buyin’!
It looks to me like a kickassosaur
Oooh! All of Dan’s stuff is great, but the dinosaur prints rock – this one especially.
awsome idea, sick print
If I was a paleontologist I would be all over this.
yeah, this is awesome!
effin sweet!
Awesome. bought it. gotta have… gotta have it. clever use of ink.

Amazing as always.
[...] “What Once Was” is a four-color screen print by the talented Dan McCarthy that may or may not be sold out. Check his site for info and other cool prints. Like this other glow-in-the-dark piece for Andrew Bird / Calexico poster. (via OMG Posters) [...]
So unbelievably happy to be a member right now.
I’m not even sad I don’t have a “The day everything became nothing” anymore. Such a great piece.
I’m going to start saving for my third year of prints. Made my week. I’m like a small child who just learned he’s getting the Lego pirate ship for christmas.
If Dan keeps coming out with stuff like this, I’m going to have to become a member too. It’s nice that i can get the ones i want before they sell out if i act quick enough, but i fear that time may be coming to an end.
