Paul Pope Art Print / T-Shirt at Nakatomi Inc.

Nakatomi Inc. just introduced the June entry in their invitational series, and it’s a beauty.  Paul Pope’s “Bell Tower” art print is a 16″ x 36″ screenprint for $40.  There is also a t-shirt with metallic ink, “Watson Robot Industries”, available for $20.  You can purchase both as a bundle for $50.  As usual, these items will be available till the end of the month or till they sell 250 copies, whichever comes first.  Additionally, there are 30 copies of the art print on wood available for $100 each.  I don’t claim to be a Paul Pope historinan, but apparently these items are a pretty big deal.  Visit NakatomiInc.com.

  1. Anyone know what the print says in Japanese?

  2. He is laughing saying “haha”

    Then, YOJIMBO.

    Then– Toshiro Mifune 1920~1997.

  3. The images are definitely derived from Akira Kurosawa’s “Yojimbo” which Sergio Leone remade as “A Fistful of Dollars.”
