James Jean “Kindling” Art Print at Pressure Printing

First let me say that there is no release info about this print yet, and when it becomes available, it will likely be VERY expensive.  That said, this is a truly amazing piece of art.  Pressure Printing has teamed up with James Jean to produce this new art print, “Kindling”.  It’s a 9.5″ x 11.875″ intaglio relief print with hand-applied accents in colored pencil, and it has a tiny edition of only 10.  You can find out alot more about the making of this print (plus see some amazing photos) at the Pressure Printing Blog.

    I think it was an error for PP to replicate this particular image. They do nice work, but this does not represent JJ’s complete skill, nor does it showcase his latest and fully fledged work. I preferred ‘Taciturn’ which they did before.

    Please reconsider PP. ‘Kindling’ is still an open edition, and would be a waste.
