Great cause, one nitpicky note:
It’s BUSHFIRES, not BRUSHFIRES… brushfires (two ‘r’s) are annoying little blazes, bushfires (one ‘r’) are enormous and devastating, as indeed the recent ones were.

Nevertheless, a very generous gesture and appreciated!

this is great, and really the poster tubes and postage to the buyers is an expense that has to be covered, at $50 you can’t complain about this cause, maybe anyone that’s unhappy should just kick $50 to the Red Cross and not expect a poster at all for doing a good deed……

No need to argue about it really. Tyler and I decided the deal together, and if anyone is unhappy with it, they are certainly welcome to donate directly to the Australian Red Cross. We aren’t forcing the deal on anyone.

If just 10% of the proceeds of this sale went to the cause, there would still be a LOT of very grateful people. The fact is, noone is under any obligation to donate ANY funds. I think this arrangement is extremely generous. The news of this local tragedy barely rated a mention in America, so I applaud anyone willing to help in any way. I beleive 50% of all proceeds is a massive offer, and noone deserves to have their motives questioned here.

evan, i can’t believe you would say something like that. tstout & mitch are being way nice by offering half, and doing an open ended edition, which could lead to 500 or more. If it were 500, that would be $12,500. every little bit helps, complaining about a contribution is one of the most asinine things someone can do.

It’s really nice that he’s doing this. I’ve been donating to help with the brushfire with each Paypal transaction. I wish I could go down there and do more.
My complaint is – If he was motivate solely by the brushfire, why are they only donating half the profit? For every dollar that goes to help the fire-ravaged landscape of australia, one is staying here to line someones pocket.
