“Maroon Bells” Art Print by Snowblinded

Colorado’s Snowblinded (aka Anthony Cozzi) has a pretty impressive new art print for sale.  “Maroon Bells” is an 18″ x 24″ giclee, has an edition of only 10, and is $150.  If you haven’t seen his other work, spend some time over at Snowblinded.com.

  1. Ummm . . . William Henry Jackson called and, he wants his photograph back. Seriously, does ‘Snowblinded’ MAKE images or FIND them. Nothing on his site seems to involve originality.

  2. I was going to say that it looks like a William Henry Jackson! Anyway, $150 seems like a lot for an image that looks like a halftone pattern, especially that it’s an area and an angle that has been photographed hundreds of times. I can buy a beautiful print of Maroon Bells in full color for $40 of that same scene, or a high quality photo printed on a fiber paper for less. Hmm. This one stumps me, especially on the price. This would be better as a serigraph.

  3. eh honestly i like all the stuff on the website, especially volcano, but 350 is a bit intense for that. 150 is also kinda high for the other stuff if you really get all dorky about it too. guess im getting a bit more budget or something, but thats because i gots to. word

  4. I like it… I wish it was of St. Mary’s glacier, then I’d grab it for sure…

  5. I find the prices on that site to be so expensive for giclee prints.
