New Alamo Drafthouse Posters

The Alamo Drafthouse just commissioned two more great new posters.  The first one, which is for “Escape from New York”, is by Nick Derington.  It’s a 24″ x 36″ screenprint for $30.  This is Nick’s first poster, but he is a long-time comic artist, and was the lead animator on “A Scanner Darkly”.  The second one, a new “Carrie” poster by Methane Studios, is a 25″ x 36″ screenprint with a clear varnish overlay for $30.  Visit Mondotees.com.

  1. Pretty disappointed they’re doing an Escape From New York without Tyler Stout on board.

  2. The Carrie poster is amazing….

  3. Really disappointed in the Escape From New York poster. After Tyler Stout’s two incredible Carpenter posters (The Thing & Big Trouble In Little China) for the Alamo Drafthouse it was just criminal to commission this poster to another artist.

Snake’s right hand makes him look like Jeremy Beadle. A real Shame.

The Carrie poster is much better on the eye but has unfortunately turned out a bit generic looking.

  4. Love the Carrie poster.
