Burlesque Obama Test Prints (Onsale Info)

After the huge success of their Beyond Recognition show, Burlesque Design has decided to offer up a bunch of Barack Obama related test prints for sale online.  In case you didn’t know, Burlesque did the printing for the entire Upper Playground Obama print campaign, almost 20 designs total, so there will be a lot of variety.  All of them are totally unique, 20″ x 26″, and will be priced at $75-$300.  They will go up tomorrow (Thursday, October 30) at 2pm CST.  Visit BurlesqueDesign.com.

Also watch for an announcement next week about Aaron Horkey’s new Cable poster.  It is set to drop sometime on Thursday, November 6.

  1. wow thanks for posting this info, looks like I will be broke next month

  2. Are any of the proceeds from these actually going to the Obama campaign?

  3. i’m willing to bet that the proceeds from these are going into the pockets of Burlesque Design

  4. who cares either way, they printed them

  5. I’m guessing there won’t be a ton of time to shop around and pick one that I really like.

  6. Should be fun.

Why all 20×26? Weren’t all the up prints 18×24?

  7. Are these signed? $75-300 seems like an awful lot for unsigned test posters

  8. […] Posters! reports that Burlesque of NA will be selling a bunch of Obama test prints. They are all 20″ x 26″, and […]

  9. Who would be signing them? The printer? There’s more than one design involved in most of them, so I don’t know who they’d be signed by.

Also, I’d say $75-$300 for a completely one of a kind print with iconic imagery is a pretty decent deal.

  10. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of these posters will be donated to the St. Paul MN-based Second Harvest Heartland, the largest hunger-relief organization in the Upper Midwest.

The prints are not signed, but yes, each one is a one-of-a-kind.

We print all of our 18 x 24″ and 19 x 25″ prints on 20 x 26″ paper and then trim them down after printing. Since these are test prints, we didn’t trim them down, leaving the crop marks and other registration info all around the edges.

Thanks for posting this up Mitch!
