News From Burlesque Design

Ok, I have a number of news items from the guys at Burlesque Design to report.  First, Ben and Bjorn have completed the printing on the new art print by the soon-to-be-huge Minnesota street artist Deuce Seven.  It is a 19″ x 25″ screenprint, has an edition of 150, and will be $72.27 shipped.  This one drops Monday, October 27 at 2:27 CST.  Visit BurlesqueDesign.com.

Secondly, Mike Davis and Wes Winship have put together a new poster for indie psych stars MGMT.  It will be $25 shipped and goes on sale today (Thursday, October 23) at 2pm CST at BurlesqueDesign.com.

Lastly, Burlesque’s First Amenedment Gallery in Minneapolis will be hosting “Beyond Recognition 2″ this weekend.  The show will consist entirely of Obama-related test prints, mixing and matching images from Ron English, David Choe, Sam Flores, and more.  The opening is Saturday, October 25 at 7pm.  The event its free, and the Brlsqoteque Dj’s will be providing tunes.

  5. You gotta see the paintings he does on black backgrounds. I get how the black kind of distracts, but the paintings, some with only white and others with colors like this one are so much better in that medium.
