I agree with Evan
This is very cool and I like Mr. Simkins’ work, but I often wonder if he and others of his kind are just kinda producing Dali-esque type work… Maybe one of you art historians out there can straighten me out…?
I think the influence is very strong. It’s playful. I reckon there’s a heavy dose of Lewis Caroll in his stuff also….Dali in Wonderland….maybe a dash of Tim Burton too. It would be nice to see one up close to take in whats going on in all the detail. Are those little melting snowmen/snail dudes holding the candles?
I would love to see the original painting in person. This is incredible. Filled with imagination. Love it. Wish I could afford it.
Never heard of him, but I definitely like this. I am going to check out more of Mr. Craola.
This is why I love OMGposters.com you always see some new interesting items you wanna check out.
Thanks again!!
check out FECAL FACE DOT COM… they have an interview with him. He has done a lot of art, digital, graff, this stuff. He is great!
