I just saw your post and maybe you’ll see this response, maybe not, but its worth a shot.

the Hillary Clinton BITCH poster was NOT made by Shepard. He would never put something out like that. It was made by an artist that frequents gigposters.com forums. It was very well made which is probably why you confused it for a legitimate obey release.

Actually, Banksy did have a line on his “morons” print – but it wouldn’t have meant much without it.

Shep’s releases are really going downhill, have been for quite a while. Casbah was actually OK, but this one is wick-wick-wack.

I was thinking about this piece.

Unfortunately for Fairey he is compared to Banksy, Political, stencil pop art etc.

Now imagine if Banksy put strap lines on his pieces. They wouldnt be funny anymore. They would just be naff.

Now originally I think this was great – solid concept, yank, SUV, oil, blood
But why put the strap line on there – We do get it.
The background is also a distraction

I have read on other sites that people looove this and its an instant classic – For me its over done and dumbed down by the strap line
