  1. Please don’t tell me these are fucking lithos again.

  2. are these limited at all? signed or anything?

  3. They are limited and signed, Hess’ prints always are. Not sure of the edition though, I’ll find out.

And yes, they are offsets, but they are really nice non-glossy, thick papered offsets, they look really nice in person, for sure.

  4. What a crock of shit. Hess is getting lazy with this offset nonsense. Does he think he is the Ryden of the hXc world or what?

  5. Hess has been doing offsets forever. Once you are reproducing paintings and need full color, screenprints aren’t usually a reasonable option.

You are a pretty negative dude.

  6. I agree, he’s been doing offsets for years now, and these would not be possible as screenprints.. He could go the route of some of these artists and make “Giclee” prints – which in most cases is a fancy term for wide-format inkjet prints.

I still prefer his older work though.

  7. His older work is much better. The truth hurts doesn’t it?

  8. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that Hess’ older work is much better, but his new work has gone in a different direction, which shows that he is still developing his style and maturing as an artist. The set that Hess did around the Floater concept is spectacular. If anyone has ever seen the original Floater that he did for Every Time I Die after “Hot Damn!” came out, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
